We have the titular Dororo herself as a main character in this one, and the story is top notch imo-very easy to get absorbed in 5. i also really love the character designs and relationship dynamics, as well as the soundtrack 4. This one is very interesting and something i thought was very unique for an adventure-type series.

Okay people might give me shit for this one but YES Lucy is the main character and YES this is one of my comfort fantasy/adventure series, the series is long but if you get through it you’ll see amazing growth in Lucy as a character 3. Some might not consider this traditionally “adventure” but since it has fantasy/wartime elements to it i personally consider it as fitting the category, and the animation is wonderful while the story is very emotionally complex 2. Tried to stay away from ones where they lean toward another major genre but adventure goes pretty hand-in-hand with a couple things… 1. My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! super cute and fun, we love girls baseball teams, great for fans of Ookiku Furikabutte. something about this just makes me happy, i just vibe with this ok, if you liked Carole and Tuesday you’ll love this. beautiful visuals, captivating story, very ghibli-like in terms of wonder. such a cute, touching movie, and the art is phenomenal. i love this art style, the concept is super unique and well executed, and the animation is flawless. the characters are so cute, and it has such an interesting concept.
